Girl Develop IT, is looking for a few good laptops!

Do you have an old laptop sitting in your closet that you haven’t even bothered to sell because, why bother? WE NEED THAT LAPTOP!

We are getting more and more requests from students who’d like to borrow laptops. It’s important to us to be able to provide loaner laptops for students who want to take our low-cost programming classes but do not own a laptop.

We would like to have 4-6 dedicated laptops to be able to use for our month-long classes. That’s where you come in!

Our requirements are very basic. We need to be able to run two programs on these laptops:
1. Aptana
2. Firefox or Chrome

That’s it! 

So if you have an old laptop that you’d like to see serving the greater good, and bringing more women into software development, let us know! We will put it to very, very good use.

We are ideally looking for laptops from folks in NYC, so we can just come and pick it up from you. If you can help, please email board@girldevelopit.com
