Girl Develop IT, who provide low-cost programming to women in NYC, is looking for a few good laptops! Used laptops, to be exact!

Do you have a laptop sitting in your closet that you haven’t even bothered to sell because, why bother? WE NEED THAT LAPTOP!

We are getting more and more requests from students who’d like to borrow laptops. And we would like to have 4-6 dedicated laptops to be able to use for our month-long classes. That’s where you come in!

Our requirements are very, very basic. We need to be able to run two programs on these laptops:
1. Aptana
2. Firefox or Chrome

That’s it! 

So, if you have an old laptop that you’d like to see serving the greater good, and bringing more women into software development, let us know! We will put it to very, very good use.
